I do not support tolls where the roadway being tolled is a primary entrance and exit into or out of a specific community, such as a new bridge replacing the bridge and tunnel on Hwy 23 going into Plaquesmine Parish in Belle Chasse. | |||

I will utilize my Economic Development Task Force with a clear mission of bringing Manufacturing back into our community. My campaign theme is "Serving People, not Politics". As my commitment to my community, I will donate my $16,800 legislative salary back to charitable organizations within my community to improve the quality of life for families. They too have suffered from the ecenomic losses in our community. | |||
| CONFLICTS OF INTEREST - Will write bill to ensure that an elected official is prohibited from voting and participating in discussions to influence legislation in which he/she or their immediate family member has a personal economic interest. Example: As a Financial Advisor, I will recuse myself from voting on all bond issues and investments. Legislators who are attorneys must recuse them selves from participating and voting on TORT reform because of the possible Economic Impact of the legislation to their practice. We must manage conflicts of interst to preserve the integrity of our legislative process. |
